Elden Updates
What an amazing first week of school! It was so wonderful to have our students back. I saw many familiar faces and met so many new friends as well. Walking around the building, it seemed like everyone was enjoying getting to know each other as well as classroom routines.

I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked through our new pick-up dismissal procedures this week. You all are amazing! We debrief each afternoon and will continue to make small changes that we hope will have a big impact on wait times. Stay with us, we will get it down!

This week, I am looking forward to continuing to make connections with our students, staff, and community. Our Elden Open House/Curriculum Night is on Tuesday the 10th, and I am excited for the opportunity to see both students and families!

Happy Monday everyone. Have a great week!

Ms. Fiorini
Principal

Curriculum Night
Elden Curriculum Night/Open House is Tuesday, September 10th. We invite you to visit Elden with your student(s) and allow them to show you around the school.

We will run two sessions based on last name in an effort to limit traffic both in and outside the school. The sessions will be as follows:
Last name starting with A-L from 6:00 - 6:30
Last name starting with M-Z from 6:45 - 7:15
(Please don't worry if you need to come to the session not connected to the first letter of your last name. These are just a guide to try and keep traffic to a minimum.)

During the open house times, our PTA has arranged for food trucks to be on site and will also have games for students to play outside. Please be sure all students stay with their parents or guardians for the duration of the open house.

*All families will need to enter through our main doors and will pass through our threat detection system when entering the building.

Elden Picture Day
School picture day is coming soon to Elden! Upstate-Images will be at Elden on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 to take individual student professional photos.

Each student brought home a school picture brochure on Friday, September 6th. (Don't worry if you didn't see it Friday. Some classes will bring it home this week.) On the back of the brochure, there are specific details, along with a timeline, for ordering. Options for ordering include using a QRcode, ordering online, or simply filling out the brochure. Please look it over carefully, if you plan to order school pictures, to choose what is the best fit for you.

We have also provided the QRCode above for ordering.
