Student in their pajamas!
Elden Updates
What a great week we had at Elden. Students wore their pajamas on Friday and raised money for Paige's Pajamarama. Our Eagles raised over $500. Way to go! The picture above is some of our 4th graders from Mrs. Follansbee and Mrs. Duncan's class. Also, report cards went live in School Tool on Friday. You should have received a message regarding your student's report card via Parent Square.

On Wednesday of this week there will be a community café at Baker HS at 6:00pm. The topic is Supporting All Students. Hope to see you there!

Also, on Friday our third graders will head over to Baker HS to see a preview of the BTAP musical Dear Edwina. There will be shows all weekend - check it out if you are interested!

Have a great week Elden!

Positivity Project
Over these next two weeks, our school community will focus on the character strength of Gratitude. Gratitude means being aware of and grateful for good things that happen.

Gratitude is about feeling and showing thankfulness. It helps us see the good in others and in the world. People with gratitude are ready to appreciate and return kindness. Expert Robert Emmons says gratitude strengthens relationships because it makes us recognize how others support us.

Out of all 24 character strengths, gratitude is the single best predictor of individual well-being. It is linked to more energy, empathy, happiness, and optimism. The good news is that gratitude can be practiced and strengthened like a muscle. The more we practice it, the more benefits we get.
