Teacher Assignments

Teacher assignments are live in SchoolTool as of today, 8/22/25. If you are having trouble logging into SchoolTool you can email Mrs. Swanson, our building secretary, at nswanson@bville.org.

A Message From Our Health Office:

If your child will need medication(s) at school, provider and parent permission forms are needed for both prescription and over the counter medications. New medication permission forms are required each school year.

New York State Law requires that:
  • Parents or guardians must personally deliver all medication to the school health office. All controlled medications must be counted with the school nurse and quantity delivered must be signed off by both the adult and school nurse.
  • All medication must remain properly labeled in the pharmacy container or in the original over the counter (OTC) containers.
  • A new prescription/medication form signed by the medical provider is required at the beginning of every school year.
  • The parent must sign the medication permission form.

Elden will have three medication drop off times this summer when families can drop off any necessary student medications and parent/physician permission forms.
  • Monday, August 25 12:00-2:00pm
  • Tuesday, August 26 8:00-10:00
  • Wednesday, August 27 12:00-3:00pm
If you will be here for either Kindergarten or New Student Orientation on Wednesday, you can also bring it with you at that time.

Mrs. Kahl

Mrs. Kahl, Band Director

Most of you already know me as the music teacher for the past 15 years at Elden; however, my role has shifted to Elden's Band Director!!

I look forward to working with all of the beginning and 2nd year band students at Elden.

Mrs. Battreall

Mrs. Battreall, 4th Grade

I am Ronda Battreall and will be one of the new 4th-grade teachers.  I have taught 4th through 8th grade and have spent over 34 years working at Van Buren! Elden already feels like home. I love teaching and helping young people grow and gain confidence in themselves. In the early morning, you can find me in the woods hiking with my 3 golden retrievers! I look forward to meeting our students and know that we will have a great year!
Mrs. Jasewicz

Mrs. Jasewicz, Math Intervention Specialist

Hello! My name is Jennifer Jasewicz, and I am excited to begin my 19th year of teaching in a new role as the RTI Math Teacher at Elden Elementary! I have spent the past 18 years mostly teaching fourth grade and am looking forward to supporting students across all grade levels in building their math skills and confidence. I love incorporating real-world, hands-on, and multi-sensory learning into lessons, as well as encouraging collaboration and creative problem-solving through engaging projects. Outside of school, I enjoy camping, hiking, and exploring new places with my family. I am thrilled to start this next chapter and to work with students, families, and staff to help every child grow and succeed in math!
