Dear Elden Students, Families, and Staff:

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break and found some time to recharge.

As we jump back into things this morning, our focus for the week is all about settling back into our school routines and expectations. After a week away, we’re looking forward to getting everyone back into the swing of a full five-day week.

I also want to remind you all that I will be out on medical leave this week (April 6th through April 10th). During my absence, Mrs. Melissa Chiodo will be covering the building. You are in great hands with her, and I look forward to catching up with everyone when I return on the 13th.

Have a fantastic week!

Ms. Fiorini
Principal, Elden Elementary

Katrina Bliven, Long-Term Substitute, 2nd Grade

Hi! My name is Katrina Bliven and I am excited to be working at Elden as a long-term substitute! I have been a day-to-day substitute here for the past three years.

Prior to that, I worked as a school counselor until I became a stay-at-home mom. My children are now in 2nd and 4th grade at Elden. Outside of school, we love traveling and all things Disney.

I love the family atmosphere at Elden and it is such an honor to be part of this wonderful school community both as a parent and as a staff member!

The Positivity Project:

P2

P2 Weekly Character Traits

This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Fairness. Fairness means treating everyone with respect and recognizing that all people have value. It also means being open-minded and fair in how we approach situations.

By teaching fairness, we help students develop into responsible, trustworthy, and kind individuals who care about others. Fairness builds the foundation for strong friendships and a positive community.
