Stem Club Participants

Dear Elden Students, Families, and Staff:

Good Morning!

I cannot tell you how happy I am to be back! Last week students and staff were able to jump back into their typical daily routines. Our first and second graders had a special visit from the trainer of the Syracuse Crunch. They practiced mindful movement breaks in each class.

This week we are looking forward to a Community Cafe on Tuesday from 6-8PM. Also, our PTA's second annual Special Person Dance is scheduled for the 18th. Grab someone special and join us for an evening of fun!

Have a wonderful week!

Principal, Elden Elementary

Hunt Family Photo

Kim Hunt, Math Teacher

Hi families! I get the pleasure of spending my days working on math in smaller group settings with many different Elden Eagles from K-5th grade! I also lead the STEM Club and FIRST Lego League team.

I love visiting the Adirondacks, Outer Banks, Italy, and many athletic venues with my husband and 3 very active children (also Elden Eagles). We have 2 Rottweilers at home (Hermione & Ron). We also enjoy supporting the Syracuse Orange, Buffalo Bills, and all things Bville. I love otters, iced coffee, reading, fruity candy (Starbursts, airheads, etc..), fostering my faith, Harry Potter, gum, America, pastel colors, and spreading joy.

P2 Weekly Character Traits

This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Humor. Humor means enjoying laughter and bringing smiles to others.

Humor helps us see the lighter side of things, making tough times easier and more fun. It doesn't mean you have to tell jokes, but people with humor often notice the funny moments in life and share them with others. Humor can lift people's spirits and help them through challenges. It’s important to help students understand how to use humor in a kind way, to lift others up, and never at someone else's expense.
